Credy is a technology credit platform - we are building the operating system for financial services. We have built modular, plug-and-play APIs to help our partners underwrite and collect loans from end customers. In a highly credit underserved country with rapidly increasing smartphone adoption, we are enabling any company to become a fintech company through our suite of APIs and regulatory layer, and helping build customized financial products for "Middle India" and its 360 million customers - for consumption-based use cases, upskilling / education financing, medical financing, etc.

About Credy team

We are a fast growing young team of 30 driven people with engineering, credit, banking, and data science backgrounds. Our founding team consists of ex Goldman Sachs investment bankers with 21+ years experience. Credy is a Y Combinator backed startup and has financial backing from other prominent Silicon Valley investors like Khosla Ventures, Vy Capital, and domestic investors like MAS Financial.

Why Operating Systems for financial services?

We have been a lender ourselves serving the credit needs of end customers. In this journey, we have learned that from a credit lens, India is not one monolithic group of loan seekers, but rather hundreds of niche groups of people differentiated by their income levels and cash flow, demographic profile, credit history depth, and so on. They could be urban salaried customers, or blue-collared workers, or self-employed customers, rural entrepreneurs, and so on. India needs not one credit enabling company, but rather hundreds of companies, who are solving pain points of these niches of customers as per their specific needs. We want to empower these fintech entrepreneurs by offering them a solid foundational layer of technology-enabled financial services tools, on top of which they can build and solve core pain points of customers through their unique customer insights.

What can Credy offer me?

We are looking to add a passionate and ambitious Business Development Executive to join our founding team. You will work closely with the founders to source, negotiate, and set-up business tie-ups with ambitious fintech entrepreneurs and startups. You will be required to nurture and strengthen these relationships as business scales. We, in turn, will offer you high levels of autonomy to learn and grow in a fast-evolving market and fast-growing company. This role also offers you a unique vantage point to learn what all different consumer products are being built by the fintech ecosystem at large.

Experience:

0 - 2 years

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated expertise in sales/business development.
  • The candidate should be highly passionate, adaptive and open to working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Should be willing to do on-field sales/business development.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication.
  • We should be able to deal in a tactful manner with new and existing partners.
  • Solid work ethic.
  • Honesty is important.

Responsibilities:

  • Outbound and inbound sales.
  • Negotiate key terms of the partnership and coordinate with internal and external partner teams to go-live.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree from premier institutes.
  • A plus if you have been an entrepreneur yourself on the business side of things. :)
